Growthink Consulting develops strategic, innovation, exit and business plans to help companies grow, raise capital and exit. And through our wholly-owned subsidiary Growthink Capital, a FINRA / SIPC registered broker-dealer investment bank, we directly raise equity and debt capital and advise upon business sale & merger transactions.
Our Story
In 1999, Growthink co-founders Dave Lavinsky and Jay Turo graduated with their MBAs from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. They conceived Growthink from their deep and abiding passion and curiosity for business. As Turo says, “The work we do at Growthink is what Dave and I would just naturally do whenever we got together – talking about businesses we love and how to make them better.”

Jay Turo
Founder & CEO
Jay has over 25 years of experience in starting, building, advising and investing in high growth firms. Jay has an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and earned a Bachelor’s degree with Distinction and with Departmental Honors from Stanford University.
Dave Lavinsky
Founder & President
Dave is an internationally renowned expert in the fields of business planning, capital raising, and new venture development, and author of the world’s #1 business plan template. Over the past decade, Dave has guest lectured at top universities and has published hundreds of articles on entrepreneurship, business planning and capital-raising.
